These were issued in the 1927 in the newspaper comics in the “Winnie Winkle” section. Series/Set contains 10 Baseball Hall of Famers. Cards are paper thin with comics from reverse page on the back. It is extremely rare to find these issues and especially in a condition this nice. This is an outstanding vintage oddball Cobb card for the advanced Cobb collector. SGC now accepts these for grading. This one is ungraded but appears to be in a high grade condition (see scan and judge for yourself). Ty was the one of baseball’s greatest players. Ty was one of the five original Baseball Hall of Fame inductees with Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Christy Mathewson and Walter Johnson.
