( This listing is for actual item pictured below ) BABE RUTH 1921 SCHAPIRA BROS CANDY Near Set ~~~~ Item Description ~~~~ Rare 1921 SCHAPIRA BROS CANDY – Partial Set. Seldom seen opportunity to own an early Babe Ruth Partial Set of Schapira Bros Candy. These cards were issued on small boxes of candy, on one side was a Ruth portrait which was redeemable for prizes, on the other side of the box were a set of five Babe Ruth action cards. Few of the action cards remain as collectors usually saved the portrait from the one side and disgarded the rest of the box. ONE box is included, scan shows front and back of box. Includes: 1-”Portrait” SGC 30, 1-”Over The Fence” SGC 30, 1-”Home Run” SGC 30 1-”Cleared The Bags” GAI Authentic. Box is included which contains one “Portrait” card and 1 “Waiting For A High One”.
